Hi, I’m Gemma,
I started Beyond Engagement because I believe workplaces don’t need more complicated policies, they need more humanity.
After over a decade working in Human Resources across multiple industries including the Public Service, not-for-profit sector, small business and FIFO I saw the same story play out again and again.
Engagement drops when people feel disconnected, unheard or overwhelmed. But when communication improves, leadership becomes more human, and people feel genuinely supported, engagement naturally rises. And with it, culture, and overall organisational performance.
So, I created a consulting practice that strips away the noise and focuses on what really matters, genuine connection through trust and transparency which leads to ongoing meaningful change.
